As the boat leaves the historic Dun Laoghaire Harbour it heads south. Along the way you will pass by the famous Martello Tower named after the famous writer James Joyce. The cruise heads towards Dalkey Island, known for its historical Martello tower, medieval church ruins, and abundant wildlife. 

Continuing along the coast, the cruise provides stunning views of Killiney Bay, framed by the lush greenery of Killiney Hill. Bono, Enya and Van Morrison to name a few live here in their stately homes. Dolphins are known to frequent Killiney Bay, making it a potential hotspot for dolphin sightings.

  • Do I need rain gear?

    We have a full heated indoor cabin that you can enjoy if it rains but we do recommend bringing a waterproof jacket also. 

  • How many people will be on-board?

    We are licensed to hold 96 passengers on board.

  • Will there be seals and dolphins?

    Yes there are always seals at Howth Harbour and sometimes in Dun Laoghaire Harbour. Often a pod of dolphins will surprise us during our cruises. 

  • How much is the fare?

    Standard fare is €25 per person but this varies depending on which route you choose. 

  •  Can we just arrive and hop on?

    If the vessel is not fully booked you can purchase a ticket at the boat but we strongly advise booking online in advance to avoid disappointment. 

  • How far in advance of the sailing should we arrive at the departure point?

    We advise arriving 30 min prior to departure time.

  • Will there be a staff member there to meet me?

    Our crew will be there to welcome you on board.
