Garrihy Family’s binding connections with the sea.
The Garrihy family’s venture is not just a business; it’s a legacy steeped in maritime traditions.
From Jack Garrihy fishing the Atlantic in the 1940s, to his son, Eugene, and his brothers being pioneers in Cliffs of Moher cruises and Aran Islands ferry trips from Doolin, Co Clare, the family has played a significant role in shaping maritime tourism in Ireland.
The establishment of Dublin Bay Cruises in 2012 by Eugene Garrihy, the Managing Director, demonstrates the family’s entrepreneurial spirit.
Their commitment to providing unique and popular boat experiences reflects not only a business mindset but also a passion for sharing the beauty of the sea with others. Moreover, their partnerships, such as teaming up with the Wright Group for Sail and Dine experiences, showcase a commitment to offering comprehensive and memorable experiences to their customers. In essence, the Garrihy family business is more than a commercial endeavour; it’s a continuation of maritime heritage, a love for the sea, and a dedication to providing exceptional experiences to those who share their passion.
